Guide to Head Hunter Interactions as a College Senior?

Seems like there isn't a well articulated guide for college seniors interacting with headhunters, but for context, I've had a few conversations with a couple of individuals, and want to ask for some pointers to reflect on. I'm passionate about going the HF route, and basically expressed my interest based on past exposure, hobbies, and whatnot, but I wonder if, at this point in time, I should be particularly specific (e.g. 'I want to do XYZ strategy in XYZ after banking' compared to 'I'd be open to 2-4 XYZ strategies because of XYZ experiences and XYZ learnings') and more refined (i.e. wearing a suit and a bit less conversational). At first, I didn't assign that much weight to these initial conversations given how early it is, and many headhunters have stated I likely won't hear about opportunities until I actually start in IB, but now I wonder if I've botched these initial convos and, if so, how I can adjust for my last semester. Should I just look at the guides written for first years and just incorporate those pieces of advice?
