You gotta do what is best for yourself. Take the current offer, and if you get a significantly better bank, renege. Don't renege a BofA for a GS because at that point you are just a prestige whore. But absolutely do not reject an offer without another in hand. Coming from a non-target you are far more likely to not get an offer from your top bank then you are to get one.

Same spot as you lol, might even be the same bank we are waiting for not sure. But yeah, I accepted the first offer I got and if I get something from my 2 preferred choices, I will renege. Gotta do what’s best for yourself.

Yea just accept the first and then do what’s best for you down the road. The bank will be fine if you renege; there’s plenty of people available to backfill your spot. All you need to say is “Unfortunately, due to unexpected personal circumstances, I am no longer able to pursue this opportunity.”

- Someone who reneged on multiple offers :)
