Was speaking to a HH last week and when she asked how much I was looking for I said the low end of what was posted online (160k - 240k).
He said they wouldn’t go for that given your experience (1 year on the SS plus a PhD). The job posting says at least 1 year of SS exp plus a PhD. Then he says let’s try 125k and go from there.
I just said okay given I really want this job, but am I being fucked?
