So I tried to send in an application for JPM insights 30 mins for the deadline. After finishing the application I got the automatic HireVue request which I struggled to run as my laptop mic is rubbish.
10 mins left, so I quickly downloaded the app onto my iPhone, which is in Spanish—trying to immerse myself in a foreign language
Obviously I’m no Spanish speaker. I ended up speed reading the instructions and skipping to the questions. I knew what they were asking, but everything else was a bit murky. long story short, I stared blindly into the camera while thinking my answer out loud for the first question. Next, I pressed what I thought looked like “retry” and for the second question, I answered as I would the previous question.
Rest assured I withdrew my application shortly after....
