The first is not a realistic ‘career.’ No one sets out to become a Caesar or Alexander figure. Yes, history remembers great (maybe not good) men, but there will only be a few each century and fewer than 100 per millennium. I don’t know where any of you all are coming from, but if one of us were going to be a statesman he wouldn’t be shitposting on WSO.

I've been trying to persuade Ukranians to activate some sleeper agents in Russia so they can go to war, I can look like a hero once I get assigned to some NATO army group or another and begin my Caesar/Bonaparte/Alexander-esque career.
