How Can I Introduce Myself on a Networking Email as a Professional

On this forum, I see networking advice structured for students where it's relatively easy to share your background ("I am a ___ studying at ___").

I have a script for "Tell me about yourself" memorized but I'm struggling to capture my background in a short, succinct way in an email format. What I typically say is:

... worked worked in valuations for post M&A transactions and other fair value opinions.

I am recruiting for investment banking so I want to highlight that indirect exposure but I also know valuations is not as well known so I feel like providing a simple description helps whereas in other roles, "I worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at ___ for ___ sector" might be enough.

Some people say to talk about what you can bring to the firm but I'm thinking skills like financial modeling and analysis are expected.

Sometimes I leave it off when networking because I don't want to sound too pretentious and assume that they care or want to know.

I'm just looking for advice on what to do and how I should structure my introduction.
