How do I quit?

Stupid question, but I barely ever see my MD (always traveling), so I can’t walk into his office and hand him my notice.

What is the proper and professional way of going about doing this? Should I put a random one on one meeting on his calendar?

I think you should ask his admin to see when he is in the office and pop in when he is free. If you find it difficult to do that given his schedule, then set up a one-on-one meeting on his calendar. You can also quit/give notice with the team staffer (if you have one) at your level - assuming you are an analyst. You should also resign first thing in the morning too. Good luck.
