How do study-abroad students attend superdays?
Hello everyone,
I will study abroad during my senior fall. I don't want to miss the fall recruitment for full-time positions. Do companies offer virtual superdays for students who are studying abroad? Or will the opportunities be very limited? Did anyone have this experience in the past?
I saw a 2009 post talking about GS had separate virtual superdays for students studying abroad. Just wondering.
Thanks!
Our firm had virtual superdays, but because of covid. All the "regular" ones are f2f.
So if the firm you are targeting still has virtual ones, that would be an opportunity.
Otherwise you'd have to fly in for the event.
Do companies pay for the expense of flying to the superday locations? I know if candidates are within US, companies pay for hotel expense and everything.
In some countries companies are legally obliged to pay for the trip to an interview.
In the US, I don't believe that states mandate such compensation. Check with the company if they offer assistance (I think they'd do it for out of state candidates who qualify).
