how long after a superday?

BB Summer superday two wednesdays ago (so its been a week and a half). HR said they expected to make a decision this week (this week is now over)... yet I haven't received an email telling me off or on yet... should I contact HR again?? (i had already emailed them two days after the Superday thanking them and asking when they would make decisions, and thats when they said "it'll be early next week", but now "next week" has come and gone)... i don't wanna be a prick and keep botherin them but they also have me antsy as hell... should i make contact?... discuss...

pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does being on said waitlist entail? and what are the odds of actually getting an offer if i am on the waitlist? any specific things I could do to increase said chances? thanks in advance

Waitlist means if someone before you takes the offer.. you would get rejected.. if they don't take the offer.. you might get picked..

I don't know the chance.. but I was waitlisted for 2 weeks and didn't get mines..

Your odds of getting off the Wait List are entirely unknowable. If your super day was for an exceptionally popular department or team then you chances of getting off the Wait List are slim. If it is a less desired position (or a position at a slightly less prestigious bank, i.e not GS, MS) then there is the possibility that their first choices will not sign with them and they'll begin picking from the Wait List.

As for what you can do to help your self...not much really. If you haven't sent out Thank You notes to your interviewers that might help to draw attention to you (in a positive way) which may have a very small affect on how they view you for the second round of offers.

Also, if you want to know for sure if you have made it off. Find someone who got an offer and figure out what the deadline for acceptance was. Its very likely that you won't here back until after that first deadline, when the bank knows who has accepted and who has declined.

What city?

If this firm is considerably sized at all, they have most likely already decided and you are either on the waitlist or cut. My experience with most banks is that they decide the night of, even if it is a Friday. That is for NYC - perhaps they do it differently in your job market though

I have attended the superday at Goldman Sachs in London 18 days ago and I still have not received any answer. Many interns tolse me to wait but I am so tired . Should I have to write? Someone has experienced something similar? Do you believe these still is hope to be selected ? Thank you so much!

Same for FT.
