How much does a PwC Deals internship hurt or help for finance recruiting?
I am a junior with an offer for summer 2027 PWC (NYC) Deals in the human capital division. For context I am at a non-target/low semi target school with 3.9 GPA and one internship in LMM PE and another in alternative investing (PE, VC, RE). For full-time recruiting how feasible would it be to move into an investing role like asset management, PE, growth equity, etc. Would I have to lateral to something like strategy consulting first?
