how safe am I as a first year analyst in coverage in terms of being laid off lol

dont mean to be emo and hate bringing this up but I am a first year IB analyst in coverage that started very very recently at one of the lower ranked BB'S. I read that costly MD's and VP's are first to good, was wondering about new analysts

uh oh smokefrog again.... how do you decide when u are trolling/being a complete asshole and actually offering good , genuine, and thoughtful advice. U can be a good dude when you want but at times bro i want to box and fight you so bad

Honestly, I just base it on the question. With the markets dead and my kids in school, I have time to post again.Let me give you an example from a couple of my recent posts.

One tool bag made a post asking about Goldman tmt culture. So when it's an asinine post like that, they're gonna get a snarky response. Because what kind of entitled douche asks about goldman culture when they don't even have an offer. It's like asking what's harvards campus life life when you're in high school. If Harvard accepts you, you're gonna go anyway right? So why ask such a dumbass question?

But there was another recent post from a young kid who was having suicidal ideation and I felt for him. So I wrote a long post trying to put his feelings and frustrations into perspective, letting him know life is long and he can heal, and to not give up. I wanted him to feel better. That's a legit post that warrants a real, heartfelt response.Like this post from a young kid who has no work experience and is genuinely worried about his job.

I think if you took a step back and actually read the OP and then saw my comments you would understand why I dip back and forth. I mean my thumbs up to thumbs down ratio is above 1.0, so many people out there agree with my posts.

Who am I to determine a worthy post vs a douchebag post? Well I'm smoke frog, and I can just sense when an entitled kid posts bs and needs to be knocked down a peg.

I’m cognizant the forum is mostly frequented by junior babies and I’m fighting an uphill battle, but someone gotta do it.

I’m sure I’ll get sick of all crying here at some point and guess I’ll move over to Reddit and start giving all the losers in the relationship advice sub Reddit some of my sterling dating and marriage advice lol.

I love this energy lol. I don't have the patience to snark the "please validate me" posts, but someone got to do God's work. Keep at it bruh

id rather people think I'm just a douche with no sense of perception or subtlety.

I mean he's a frog at the end of the day, he can't be that complex, right?
