How should i be during interviews?

Is it better for women to be bubbly during interviews? Or does that work against you in IB? I’m a pretty chatty person but sometimes I choke up with authority so i need a personality to model when i get nervous

Honestly imo it depends on the country. In US, ive noticed being much more serious is preferred, especially for a woman. Whereas for a man a smile is good enough. Now here in the U.K. it’s quite different and case by case. Us Brits tend like break the ice first with a bit of a light chitchat. I tried that in the U.S and it was awks as hell.
