How to communicate that I have an expiring offer

I am sure this has been answered before, but what is the best way to communicate that I have another expiring offer without putting off the interviewer.

I had a call yesterday with the interviewer in question, but did not feel that there was an appropriate time to mention it given the conversation.

I want to mention it in my follow-up email, but was unsure how to communicate that. I want to to make clear that his firm would be the priority without A) sounding desperate and B) sounding threatening.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

I have no experience doing this, but I think being honest and just saying something like "Hey, just by the way I have an offer at X firm for Y." Idk if you would want them to speed up the process for your interviews but if they're not reciprocal of that - maybe reaching back out to the offering firm and asking for more time to make a decision could be an option.
