How to define penultimate year of study? (grad in december)

Hi everyone,

I am expected to graduate in december 2015, am I considered as a non-penultimate year student? Technically I understand it should be student graduating this year december. But if I apply to penultimate student positions, will I get rejected immediately? Should I check the box to declare I am a penultimate year student?

Many thanks.

I also graduate in December, I asked a company rep about it and he said that you would not be considered in your penultimate year if you graduate in December, which sucks. That being said, if the job listing says "Graduating in 2015" you're technically golden, if it says Spring 2015...you're probably not.

But I'll let others chime in because I don't know anything other than the one experience.
