How to list yearly GPA on resume?

My 1st and 2nd year GPA is a dismal 3.0 due to drugs and depression, while for my 3rd year I got my act together and got a 3.55. My CGPA now is only 3.11. Should I list both my CGPA and my 3rd year GPA under education, or just only include my CGPA? There is a clear upward trend in my grades and I have a good explanation/story for it, which is why I am wondering whether or not to include my 3rd year GPA as well.

I recall my career counselor said that if one year's grades are particularly good, I should list it with my CGPA. I am not looking to break into IB or anything, just attain some finance job.

I'm not quite sure how to calculate the major GPA; the student website has no function for it. My school has breadth requirements which require me to take 4 credits in non-major courses which count toward my concentration/degree. There are 8 credits in total which I must take, and the rest are electives which count toward my degree(they're still business/economics courses). The 8 credits that I must take I have a GPA of 3.21, but the majority of the courses are from 1st and 2nd year.

I would list your cumulative and then 3rd year, like : GPA: 3.11 (3rd year: 3.55) or something.

Be careful in saying you have a good reason for it - not to undermine your struggles, but other people (that I know, so I'm not just guessing) have dealt with drugs or depression (or both) and have maintained extremely high GPAs. I'd also hesitate to explain that drugs/depression were the reasons for my lower GPA in interviews......

Clearly I don't know the whole story, but just cautioning you to be careful if you're planning on mentioning drugs/depression as reasons for low academic performance in interviews.

To reiterate what's posted above, there could be a professional stigma attached to having a dismissal 3.0 GPA due to drug use
