How to not sound like an autistic weirdo on networking calls?

So, normally, in person, I’m really able to be conversational and keep the flow going, but for some reason when it comes to networking calls I sound like a FUCKING idiot. I’m literally pulling my hair because I can’t believe I just said what I said “do you like working there” BRO WHAT THE FUCK WHY WOULD I SAY THAT. Anyways, any tips?

Idk i feel like after a bunch of networking calls trying out different things, you just get what works for you and you stick with it. Normally thats just being yourself lol

Try to see if you can go for in person coffee chats. I’m also the same when it comes to networking calls but getting that human element in with in-person sessions definitely helps when it comes to becoming more personal & connecting with your network.
