How to Resign??? Hate my boss and hate the team

So I’ve been trying to find a new job for a while now and thankfully I just landed an offer. I currently work in ER and really despise my boss.

Is it okay to sound passive aggressive in the resignation email? I’m going to another firm covering a different sector. Is this a bad idea?

I get the desire to do it, and it will probably feel good in the moment, but it's not worth it.  You never know where your paths might cross in the future and it's always easier to recover from indifference vs. disdain.  Don't give them the satisfaction of knowing they got to you.

I'm sure you already know, but for avoidance of doubt, don't say or mention anything until you've entirely completed the pre-hire process (background check et al) and have a start date.  Congrats on the new job.

I think you should put your best foot forward and don't come off passive aggressive. The risk/reward (or satisfaction you're getting) from coming off passive aggressive just isn't worth it. Put your emotions to the side and don't send anything that can hinder your network or any future opportunities with another employer. Best of luck
