How to respond to cold email?
hey guys,
so I cold emailed a few boutiques and MM hedge funds around my area. I got a few responses from analysts and portfolio managers for meetings. I'm wondering how to respond to these though while confirming the date and time? here is something i drew up. Maybe I'm being a bit paranoid here, but how long should I wait before I send out a response if I got an email say a few minutes ago.
Hi Mr/Mrs. XXXX,
Thank you for taking the time to meet with me. I will see you on [date/time] at [location].
Sincerely,
XXXX.
You should ask them what dates/times are best for them
They responded with a date and time. I just wanted to confirm that with them in my response.
That would probably be fine. Don't stress too much over it, they are people too. Then just confirm it with them again as the date gets closer as a reminder.
