How to work in the US as a US citizen studying in the UK

So I'm currently senior year high school in Paris and I'm going to pursue a finance degree at the university of Exeter next year. I have the french, british and American passport (I was born there). I really want to work in PWM or private banking in the US particularly Florida where I'm from, because the quality is life is just way better.

Do you have any advice on how to find a finance job in the US with a UK degree ? My plan is to do an MBA in America after a few years in Europe. Is there a better strategy ?

Being a US citizen myself and planning a similar move, your best bet is to get a job in London and transfer internally to the US after a couple of years. Having a US passport makes this route exponentially easier, as it removes the visa hurdles regular candidates have to go through. PWM isn't as competitive as IB, so you shouldn't have too much trouble getting a spot in a decent BB, performing well, and transferring stateside.

To infinity... and beyond!

probably the biggest hurdle you will face is breaking into london from exeter. if you can do that im sure the likelihood of moving to the us is high.

exeter is a semi target but definitely not on the same level as bristol bath durham so it’ll be an uphill battle. still doable though
