I cant get a freshman internship
Hello everyone.
This isnt very relatable but Im from a relatively small country where in my city there are only ~10 places I could apply for a summer internship in a finance related field. Im also in the top2 uni in this country.
Ive connected with a few people on LinkedIn, and even messaged them with my CV and why I would be a good candidate, but they all ghost me.
I know my CV is atleast decent enough because I got some help doing it by some older, more experienced friends who have gotten internships.
Id accept even a non IB internship, like WM or something related.
What am I doing wrong? Any tips?
Well no shit you should apply for non ib roles. If there’s 10 places and you’re a freshman why would they take you?
I understand, however, a friend of mine got one on his freshman year, so Im trying aswell
