I feel like it’s impossible to get an internship in Italy
Hey guys I need advice. I have been trying to get a relevant internship (M&A) in Italy but I just feel like it’s impossible. I am a third year undergrad student from a top 10 Italian university, 4.0 GPA, fluent in English, exchanging in one of the best business schools in Europe, founder of the biggest finance club at my uni, and have completed the Wall Street Prep course so I know my way around financial modeling, valuation and accounting. Despite all of this I can’t land an interview for virtually any position.
I need a relevant internship both to land a job in IB and also to get into a T1 school for my master. I don’t want to sound like a sissy but I think I need a bit of help. Any thoughts on what I may be getting wrong?
