I got a networking call... now what?
I am a junior working towards a summer internship and locked down a networking call with an alum from my school at one of the companys I applied to. I am aware I am going to talk about him, his experiences, how he got to where he is. My question: what are some broad questions I should be asking this senior VP to find me knowledgable and curious. Follow up, how do you approach this person in asking them to flag your application.
Ask him how his wife is doing, you'll seem more personal relating to the family.
Show a genuine interest in the work, their career path.
