IB (Class of 2025)
Hello everyone,
So, I started my first year of college at a no-name university and decided to transfer to my local community college. I was able to get a Big 4 internship this past summer and will be interning at a different Big 4 in the summer of 2023. I am in the class of 2025 and will most likely be transferring to a target school next fall. However, I know that IB recruiting for Summer internships starts super early. Recruiting for the Summer of 2024 (That's the summer after my Junior year) will probably start in the Spring of 2023, and I would have to apply as a community college student since I won't transfer until the Fall of 2023, and admissions decisions come out until late Spring (late April). Should I stay three years after transferring?
Yes, I think that would be a good call. I don’t think you’d have much of chance applying straight from community college. An extra year wouldn’t make a difference in the grand scheme of things. Just my two cents tho, I’m sure others would chime in.
