IB Networking Timeline for Sophomore

Hello!

I hope you are all doing well. I am a current sophomore at a target undergrad business school. I know very little about IB and finance in general, but I would love some advice about networking.

My peers keep telling me that IB recruiting is starting now, and I'm very late to the whole networking/outreach thing. If I started disciplined, tracked  outreach now (I've already shot a few emails to associates/alums), am I still ok for the upcoming recruiting season (Summer 2024)?

I made the mistake of not networking enough freshman year and don't have too much club/extracurricular experience either. Feeling a bit stressed trying to figure the whole process out, but thankfully my University has some great resources for IB, which I'm now finally trying to understand.

Thank you!
