IB or quant?

Hey all, I’m a junior at a west coast semi target/low target who has an offer at a good but not great west coast eb tech group (1 step down from cvp/evr). I’m studying cs and business/econ and have a rly good gpa but all my internships have been finance related (mostly buyside). Im rly interested by quant trading and was thinking of recruiting for it, but I don’t know the process or interview prep at all. I’m not in any clubs at school either so don’t have many people to help me. Is it worth trying to go into quant and recruit, or should I just stick with IB? I think I could probably learn the material for quant if I put my mind to it but I don’t have any cs internships and the only cs projects I have have been from class. Also is it too late? How should I approach recruiting/prep?
