IB/IM Internship

Hello All,

I am a junior at DePaul University in Chicago. I know DePaul isn't a target school in the least and there are two big target schools to compete against. I am currently a finance major with a 3.54 GPA. I also have a lot of extracurricular; such as clubs and investment competitions. I have an internship in PWM at a mid-sized investment banking firm in Chicago. It’s a great internship, unfortunately it is very slow most of the time and really not what I want to do career wise.

My question: Does anyone with a similar circumstance have any suggestions or firms that they would apply to try and get a summer internship in IM or IB? Any suggestions/leads would be appreciated.
