Ideal summer internship
Was wondering what type of summer internship would look best for IB recruiting.
If I already have experience with a regional boutique, would it be worth to do another IB one over this summer? Or would something like a hedge fund be more helpful? I feel like two IB internships could be od
It prolly doesn’t matter too much and isn’t that deep but I was just wondering. Would rather not do random bitch work at a small bank if there’s no value add lol
For IB recruiting: notable IB (sophomore program at BB for example) > HF/PE > VC > corp dev / commerical banking > PWM >>> all non financial internships.
Gotchu. Where would a smaller regional IB fall in there? Also, sophomore IB internships at BB’s are 99% for diversity candidates right?
