If I bumbed my gpa from a 3.51 to a 3.6 on my resume will I be fine on my FT offer background check? (Min Gpa is a 3.5 preferred)

What are your odds of getting to 3.6 before the background check? If good, no reason not to say 3.6. Also if you get to a 3.55, can just round up to 3.6.

In the grand scheme of things, the GPA piece is less important than your performance in the interviews. I know plenty of people with relatively mid gpas (3.0-3.3) who got SA in good spots (HL, MS, GS).

They cannot see your actual GPA unless you release your transcripts to them. The background check will only be able to confirm that you attended. In most cases they use shitty third party firms from India that don’t do a great job with due diligence. For the most part they are looking for something materially different (ie. criminal history, credit reports, etc.)
