In person interview etiquettes
Just got an invitation for an interview, but it's in-person which I've never done. Any etiquettes I should keep in mind such as not sitting down first before the interviewer?

Is sitting down first a big deal?
Wouldn’t say it’s a big deal, but some people perceive it as a respect thing. I personally sit after the interviewer sits, or the explicitly invite me to sit. At client lunch/dinners I always wait for the client to start eating
I generally don’t sit down before the interviewer. Be polite and personal given you are there, greet well (handshake), if they offer anything I usually just take water unless coffee is already there.
Dress well, suit, office shoes, and tie (even though I skip this sometimes). Maybe have some copies of your CV you can share and a small notebook / pen in case it is needed (for any brainteasers) but also to make some light notes when you ask questions in the end of the interview.
I think this person nailed it. If they put you in a room, make sure you actually stand up to shake their hand. Most of the chairs are on wheels so don't swivel around
I generally like to piss in the trash can before my interviewer gets in the room. Establishes dominance early on and leaves a comfortable stench in the room.
Talk about marking your territory! My labradoodle does the same and all the other hounds stay away. Think this definitely could establish dominance on the interviewer and put you in the driver seat early on.
