Incoming SA who doesn’t know a lot of technical knowledge.

I’m gonna be an SA at a BB this summer and idk much technical information. I know that we have a 2 week training period but I’m worried that they’re just gonna drop me. We’re supposed to take an assessment and I’m nervous to take it bc what if I score super low and they don’t want me anymore :(

Any tips?

Not tryna be rude but how did u get past the superday with no technical knowledge? Did you somehow manage to avoid technicals altogether? Otherwise if they did ask you technicals and you passed, I wouldn’t worry about it. Chances are you’re more or less in the same boat as the rest of your analyst class and either way you have plenty of time to prepare

These people are trying to scare you lol. The training period is more than enough time for you to catch up. Just pay close attention, ask questions, do lots of studying and make sure you understand the concepts. The assessments are pretty straight forward but as long as you put in the work you'll do fine. I know a lot of people that averaged mid C's on the assessments and they're all doing well. Also, don't let the imposter syndrome get to you. You might not be able to see why your bank chose you, but they have a reason as to why they didn't outright reject you so just remember that.
