Internship at PE/Inv Fund or Corp Fin (Deals) PwC
Dear experienced monkeys,
I just got an internship offer (fresh out of undergrad) from both an investment fund and a Corp Fin (Deals/Financial Advisory) PwC in Vietnam.
My goal is to work for 3-5 years, then do a top 10 MFE/MFin/MBA (I have GMAT 750, GPA 3.6 from an European uni) in the US and work on the Wall Street - my dream since young. It doesn't even matter which job/company (hell, I'll even do audit if I am eligible to sit for the NYC CPA), but experiencing NYC would be dope. I'm young and I've been to most of Asia and Europe but I've never been to the US =D
I guess most people here would say take the PE route, but I'm afraid the firm is only known in Vietnam (and it is not the biggest, most well-known fund in Vietnam), while every recruiter knows what PwC is. So I'm afraid the name PwC carries much more weight on the resume.
What do y'all think?
