Intership for a freshman

I am looking for some advice on IB/PE/AM internships opportunities for freshmen.

I've searched through the posts already, but most SA positions or internships seem to be designated for rising seniors.

Has anyone ever done a stint during freshman year at an IB, PE or AM?

Would it be worth applying to IB SA positions when the ads say they are looking for juniors/seniors?

You're right that IB/PE internships are for rising seniors/juniors; unless you have a lot of connections, it'll be very difficult to get in at your grade. You should focus on private wealth management as a freshman, as that's where you'll find the greatest opportunities.

There are also some good posts about the topic on this site, so feel free to search for those.

Best of luck!!
