Interview for Bank Teller position at Chase

Hey everyone,

I have applied to a bunch of part-time associate banker positions at Chase to get involved with the Finance industry in some way while I am still at college. I got an email saying that they have decided to move forward with the interview process and now I have a phone interview on Thursday. What kind of questions should I expect them to ask me and how can I prepare to answer them? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey there,

Congrats on moving forward in the interview process! That's a big step. Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some potential questions you might be asked:

  1. What are your primary responsibilities at your current/previous position?
  2. What are the areas where you need to improve?
  3. Tell us about a unique leadership experience of yours.
  4. What current event interests you?
  5. How will you use your background and skills to succeed in this role?

Remember, these questions can vary depending on the role, so it's best to prepare for a wide range of questions.

The interview will likely include 3-6 questions with 30 seconds to prepare a response, and up to 90 seconds to answer. The video stops recording as soon as 90 seconds are up, so make sure your answers are concise and to the point.

Also, don't forget to prepare some questions of your own to ask them. This could be about their experience in the industry, why they chose to work for Chase, or what they find most surprising about starting in the industry.

Good luck, and remember to let your personality shine through!
