Interview Question: Are you a quantitative or persuasive person?

Retrospectively, I think I should have said that I currently have a comparative advantage in persuasion, but my passion is for quantitative areas of corporate finance, esp. QRM.

Is this a good response if they are looking for a quantitative person?

For Investment Banking:

Quantitative means you will excel during the first few years in banking, but persuasive means you will excel at the senior level.

What if I answered by reiterating the above statement followed by: "I'm the person you should hire if you are looking for a leader."

What if they aren't looking for a leader?

I'd just say, "I'm whatever kind of person you want me to be."

How is this even a question? What is it to even be one type of such a person? You should hope to be persuasive enough to get the interviewer to stop asking such inane, idiotic questions.
