Interview questions that ask about confidential information
Hi I'm a sophomore student seeking to break into banking. In one of my buy-side internships, my work was analyzing CIMs and conducting valuation, so the information used there was confidential. If interviewers ask how I arrived at enterprise value for that company and how I was involved in the process, shall I reveal some confidential data? I'm concerned that if I don't provide some specific confidential data (such as exact EBITDA or valuation multiples), it could give the impression that I don't really remember what I did during my internship. Also, shall I reveal the target company's name?
