Imagine you have a bunch of final round interviews at GS NY S&T early in the morning, and later that day you visit a mega hedge fund manager at his office.
If you were asked at the HF "Where have you been this morning?" (He knows I am from Boston and that I am in NY just one day)
What would you say?

why would he aks you what you did in the morning. otherwise just tell him walking around, gettin some lunch and thats its.

Tell him you were interviewing at GS, make him compete for you.
^ That´s what I thought, but I am not sure to what extent that is a good idea.
He already must think you are somewhat intelligent if he is going to interview you, reinforce that thinking for him. When you do it though, just make sure you tell him the HF position is the one you really desire.
