Irrelevant Industry Change and Networking from a CS and Molecular Biology major

Hello all, I will give a little background before my question. Five years ago I graduated from MIT/Stanford/Berkeley with a Computer Science and Molecular Biology degree and through my career I have a background in artificial intelligence. However, due to many factors I have been looking into a complete career change. I have always had an interest in the investment management field and have managed my own money for some time but never looked into the field. I have arranged office meetings with the Chairman as well as the COO of two large funds think Soros/Moore/Bridgewater/Paulson. I am interested in trading as well as the business development areas. My question would be what should I steer the conversation towards with the goal of receiving interviews and hopefully an internal push.

One thing you should do is pick their brains about there experiance. According to your post you are visiting with two of George Soros, louis Bacon, John Paulson and Ray Dalio. Very few kids get to sit down with these people and talk one on one. Get to know them and get as much advice as possible. Do not just ask for help. These people you brought up get many kids with great backgrounds like yours asking for help but very few if any get one on one networking meetings to talk. You are very lucky.
