Hey, bud. A couple of things here - if that's your real name and photo, I would recommend you to change both of them. Most users on this site use a pseudonym; helps in speaking your mind out loud.

Second -  I commend Imarticus for being honest. They could have called it an Investment Banking course but they were honest enough to add 'Operations'. If you check on LinkedIn, you will see that most IB Operations roles at American banks in India have people with an MBA. They often come from Tier I or Tier II B-Schools. But, if you are planning a transition from engineering (a presumption I am making based on the LinkedIn search I ran with your username), you will need an MBA. You will find people talking about networking on WSO. But, I am not aware of particular successful transitions from engineering to investment banking made in India purely on the basis of networking. If you went to an IIT or a BITS or a Tier I engineering college in India with some successful internships in finance during your undergrad - that's a different story.

So, to summarize - go for an MBA in any Tier I or Tier II B-School. If you can get an Analyst gig before that, great. But, on a standalone basis, these certifications will not get you beyond Evalueserve or roles at other similar back-office modelling platforms.

Feel free to discard all the advice given here. Cheers!
