Is commercial banking interesting?

Hi! Recently, I learned a bank near me is offering a summer internship. The bank is commercial, not investment. Despite being inclined towards investment banking, this is a big bank. Should I apply or is commercial banking way too boring (I've seen many people complaining about that, but people are bored with their own thoughts, so what am I supposed to know). I would appreciate any opinion. Thank you!

It depends on what kind of commercial banking you do. If it's credit cards, consumer loans or calling people in the middle of the night to pay back their debts I wouldn't say it's very relevant.
