Is it possible to break into investment banking with a MSc in Project management?

Hello everybody, I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Econometrics (average 14.44 out of 20, which is a GPA of 3). This year I am going to complete my master's degree in Project Management( GPA of 3.7). Lately, I have been interested in Investment Banking. I have no prior experience in the finance industry. Do you guys think it's possible to have a career in investment baking? Other than the CFA what others certifications I should get? I also planned to take the GMAT and apply for an MBA (ivy schools, I know I am aiming for big things, but why not keep working hard and try?!) Thanks in advance for your help.

Without knowing your school, I would say is very difficult. Definitely, forget about NY/SF/LDN(If you are in EU) and BBs/EBs

Your best oportunity probably is through networking, someone who studied in the same place/ something in common etc.

Get into the industry, learn and then try to lateral.

MBA without experience is not only useless, is counterproductive. Unless you have 800 GMAT, without relevant experience you are not getting in a T-20.

I had my bachelor's in Ivory Coast. My master's in Canada (Rimouski university). I actually plan on to do an MBA after I have gained between 2-5 years of work experience
