Is it still possible to get an IB summer 2022 internship (non BB & EB) ?

Current sophomore who’s lost. Target school, 3.5 GPA econ major, involved in investment clubs + a tech club + community service. Also prepped hard for IB recruitment but didn’t make it, good thing is it will be helpful for junior recruitment.

Still need to land something for sophomore summer though. If not IB role should I go for corporate dev, finance/accounting, or PE role? Thanks for any insight!

There are still firms who are recruiting but mostly LMM / regional boutiques. Occasionally, some MM banks recruit this late as there’s always a few ppl who end up reneging and a spot opens up

You’re fine, honestly you’re not even late man don’t worry. Ideally you land an IB offer at a small firm, but either way just get something for this summer even if it’s a normal corporate finance internship, and then recruit for SA 2023. Also try and get your GPA up by like .1 or .2 if possible
