Is it worth trying to find an internship now?

I just had a horrible interview experience with a P.E. firm earlier this week. I'm guessing some of you might have read the post. I'm positive I won't get the position but am going into my senior year and May is almost over.

At this point is it even worth networking for a summer position again? I'm sure just about every firm would have hired by now and consistent emails/phone calls will probably be ignored.

I need some decent advice, where do I go from here?

2 options:

A) short summer internship (3-6 weeks instead of standard 8 weeks)

B) fall internship that starts late summer and continues into school year ( starts late july / august and lasts until october / december )

lol - internship structuring hahahahha

i'm still looking too man. waiting to hear back from 2 boutiques and gonna be scheduling a PWM interview next week.

not sure what i'll do this summer if none of those 3 pan out.
