is "Pay to get an internship" worth the money?

Anybody heard New York school of Finance Advantage program (called exchange analyst previously). Looks like it places most of the students at Kerburn Rose, is that worth to go through this program and gain some experience?

Honestly, this sounds even worse than the arcade trading platforms where you get a "job" trading your own money and splitting it with the firm.

If you're buying in instead of earning it, think about how you are percieved by those doing the hiring that have worked for what they have...

Require contact with program alums to see what they're up to.

I don't know about that program in particular, but I have paid for an internship before. For me it was a good decision, however you should consider why you're paying (and how much you're paying). I paid $1K for a consulting internship at a mid-tier American firm (APAC office).

Was well worth the money - that said, if you're not getting a considerable benefit (such as the name brand, experience, travel, etc.) then it may make more sense to simply cold-call/email/work unpaid.

in it 2 win it
