Is Prestige important in Behavioral Interview Questions?

What I am really asking is what is the weight of the perceived "prestige" of the experience when you are giving out answers to behaviorals.

For instance, in one of my stories I talk about how I managed a $5,000 budget for a school organization. I've seen some people have $100,000+ budgets for their fraternities. Or for example I talk about how I led a small fundraising event and learned delegation and teamwork, while some other kid talks about how he started a fintech club and received tons of funding from the university.

Is stuff like this important? Obviously on paper it is, but after you've passed that initial screening do interviewers still care about how impressive sounding your experiences are vs. how eloquent and confident you are?

I have a feeling that interviewers are very rarely actually impressed by students, so I shouldn't worry about not having climbed Mt. Everest or done some crazy sounding stuff like that. But I'm not sure how true that is in a prestige-driven industry like IB.

Any and all thoughts are welcomed and appreciated!
