Is there signing bonus for going A2A?
Is it common for people to get signing bonus for going to A2A at your current firm? What about if I'm lateraling to another firm as 1st or 2nd year associate? Can I ask for a signing bonus + relocation bonus?

For A2As at my old bank yes, and then on top of that a 1 month sabbatical as well. Forget what the $ value is as when I got my A2A I made it clear that I wasn't going to be staying around more than a couple months, so a signing bonus wasn't applicable.
I'm pretty sure I'm at the same bank you're referring to. Wasn't there a case where some dude who took the a2a signing bonus and then dipped to PE right after his month sabbatical? lmaooo
Can anyone share insight into what these firms PWP/Evercore/Lazard offer as A2A bonus to its analysts?
