Is this front office? IB

Is this an investment banking front office role? Sounds similar in the XL, PPT, forecasting, modeling, corp fin. advisory and acquisition finance but something doesn't seem right...

I'm interested in regular practices for ex: m&a, private placement and ipo capital raising... Is this similar in any way? Or spin-able to become an investment banking summer analyst role.
