Is This Normal For FT Recruiting
Interviewing at a well-known industry specific boutique for a FT position (don't want to name the bank because still in the process). For SA, I was used to a relatively standard one-interview (or maybe also an informational call) then superday process. For this bank, the process started last week and has been one interview a day, then wait until the evening and see if I hear back for the availability the next day, with no end really in sight. It has been 6 total interviews so far, and I am starting to get exhausted spending so much time stressing about a single bank. This isn't normal, right? Any thoughts?
Have you tried, ya know, asking the bank?
This is pretty standard. Even when I interviewed for SA it was never one interview, it would be several two on ones before the superday.
Just recruited for FT 2022. I observed that the process was way less structured than the SA process. I have had the traditional phone screen -> superday and I have also had similar processes to what you are currently going through. So I wouldn't worry much about it.
