JOB CHANGE ADVICE (PE IR VS IB)

Hi Monkeys,

I need some advice/ help with decision making.

Im in my final year at Uni, with a FT offer as an Investor Relations Analyst at a PE firm. Im excited and happy.

However, I received a follow up on a networking message (with someone in PCA at an elite boutique) I sent when I was looking for a job. As I was interested in the space.

I had the call and they basically told me they like my profile, and if I would be interested in an internship with a possibility to convert. (This is a bit of a risk, as I already have FT secured)

Here is the dilema: I am content with my FT role, I like the hours, comp is okay (Less than IB but not bad). But I know that in PCA comp is much better and maybe (as the look of it) the work is a bit more stimulating / interesting, but WLB is worse. I think to myself now is the time to really grind, but, I will be comfy.

I understand the skill set is different and all, but attracted to both jobs.

Am I crazy to turn this down? I am unsure if this is a now or never moment. But I want to test the waters with IR to truly see if I like it and then decide to switch/ stay later on.

I would appreciate your thoughts.
