Jobs With An Expunged Record Unspecified

Hello Eveyone

I was working for TDCJ (the prison) and looking forward to making a career out of that until I got into some trouble with my twin sister and I have an assault with bodily injury on my record. I lost my job because I was told I could not hold a fire arm anymore. When I went to court she didn't show to explain herself I plead guilty thinking I was doing the right thing and would get my job back sooner but realized it was a mistake but it was far to late I had already signed paperwork etc. I was placed on deferred probation for 15 months. I'm almost completed with my probation and I was trying to get more info on rather or not I should get my record expunged or sealed. This is my first time getting into any trouble like that so I have no idea how to go about things with this. I am living in Texas currently. Also do I have a chance of going back to Texas Department Of Criminal Justice once everything is cleared up? I'm currently going to school for Criminal Justice, would this affect me in anyway with jobs in the future after my degree once I get this cleared up (expunged or sealed) ??

-Thanks
