I work at one of the other big 4 in corporate finance... (although I'm in a boutique area within this).

Two suggestions below... (these are issues that some MANAGERS/SEN. ASSOCIATES within Big 4 firms do not fully appreciate... and I certainly wouldn't expect to here it expressed in many interviews for SAs etc...

One of the BIG ticket items for the Big 4 firms is their ability to leverage the internal relationships that they have from clients utilizing Across other Lines of Service (X-LOS)... eg clients that use the tax practice being introduced to the CF practice... I would be mentioning this facet of KPMG... perhaps from the perspective of all the exciting opportunities this ability can present...

Another facet worth mentioning is the ability to provide a "one stop shop".... ie finance + tax + accounting + post-deal activities... which allows for a certain "interconnectedness" of service delivery. This is something a client DOES NOT GET by going to say UBS for corporate finance advice, PwC for taxation advice and then McKinsey for post deal work... Again... this can provide its own exciting opportunities...

You could use these for the inevitable "why KPMG" rather than an IB...

Just my 2 cents worth...

I actually just had the interview with this group today, very fit oriented, nothing special at all, has anyone heard back from this group yet?

dont worry too much about it madd,

I know exactly how you feel ( for other jobs not for this)

you did your best and you will find out soon. Now just go out and have some fun. If they want you, they will call you (please don't check your phone 24/7 now)

i second eric's opinion. go out and enjoy life guys..
do your best and the rest is out of your hands. there are so many variables to consider in why someone did or did not get an offer.
